Zinc-Nickel-Based Treatments
Zinc-Nickel-Based Treatments
Alkaline Zinc-Nickel is an innovative cyanide-free process designed for the application of a 12 ÷ 15% Zinc and Nickel alloy with high corrosion resistance characteristics. The deposit is uniform and semi-gloss, with a very fine crystalline structure and highly resistant to wear. This type of coating is applied by Zincoplating, both in a barrel for small metal parts and in a frame for larger parts or with specific needs. In recent years it has had a notable development, in response to increasingly demanding market demands, in particular with regard to the high corrosion resistance of metal coatings.
Ductile Zinc-Nickel Coating
A ductile zinc-nickel variant is also available for specific needs. This type of coating maintains corrosion resistance even after the bending or deformation of coated parts.
Trivalent Chromium Passivation Colors
In recent years, hexavalent chromium-free passivations have been developed to offer greater efficiency and environmental safety. These include:
- Transparent/Iridescent Zinc-Nickel
- Black Zinc-Nickel
