Special surface treatments
Zinc flake coatings are much appreciated for their corrosion resistance and excellent versatility. These metal films are used in a wide range of fields: in the automotive industry, they are widely used for the coverage of clips or bolts with high metal strength, in addition to being used for the manufacture of fasteners for wind farms and, in general, in the construction industry.
Formulated with a solvent characterised by a low concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), zinc flake contains no heavy metal and is therefore characterised by a low surface resistance, a peculiarity which makes it unsuitable for application on details with a complex geometry.
